Born in Cuba, I spend most of my time these days in Granada, Nicaragua where I administer The Claro Oscuro Art Gallery.
It's a beautiful though modest gallery filled with colorful paintings of young Nicaraguan painters, as well as my own. Visitors can enjoy a variety of figurative art: primitivism, magical realism, and surrealism can all be found in these paintings. Our gallery is open to everybody who is interested in learning more about, or buying, the pictorial Nicaraguan and Latin American art. We also invite other artists to put their works on display. The painters whose paintings form part of our exhibit come from all over Nicaragua, including Managua, León, Niquinohomo, Granada, Masatepe, and other places. To see my work, please visit my blogs.
